Supporters of House Bill 197 from all over Ohio traveled to the Statehouse April 24 for a packed hearing of the House Public Utilities Committee. The committee heard testimony regarding the cost savings, power generation and economic benefits that would come from a community solar pilot project, such as the one that would be enabled by HB 197. Solar developers, farmers, energy experts and family farmers all testified before the committee.
